What is Xtream Codes?
Today, “Xtream Codes” means a login type: a server URL, a username and a password that an IPTV app uses to load live channels, movies, series and the TV guide in one go. The name comes from an old server panel that is no longer sold, but almost every IPTV player still has an “Xtream Codes” or “XC API” option on its login screen.
The three parts of an Xtream Codes login

How to log in with Xtream Codes
- Open your IPTV app and look for Add playlist, Add user or Login with Xtream Codes API.
- Choose Xtream Codes (sometimes called XC, XC API or Xtream).
- Type the server URL exactly, with http:// and the port number (the part after the colon).
- Type the username and password. They are case sensitive: “Ab12” is not “ab12”.
- Save. The app downloads the channel list, then the guide. The first load can take a minute.
Common login errors

Is Xtream Codes an app?
No. It is a login type inside IPTV apps. You still install a player such as Axon Player.
Can I turn an M3U link into an Xtream Codes login?
Usually yes: an M3U link often contains the server, the username and the password inside it. Ask your provider and they will send the three parts separately.
Is it safe to share my login?
Do not post it anywhere. Anyone with it can use your screens, and your plan allows only so many at once.
